best to offer as much variety and types of foods, including frozen foods
as possible
- Do
not crush food, let your fish be a fish, in nature no one cuts their food
for them
- Multiple
feedings are best however the food must always be consumed within 2 or 3
minutes
- If
food is consumed in 1 minute or less give them a little more
- It
is best to remove any uneaten food after 5 minutes, wait an extra day
before feeding again, then use less for the next feeding
- Be
aware that over feeding is about portions not frequency.
Overfeeding is the #1 source of all problems in all

is best to use “aged” water for all water changes and for “topping
off”

is best to have lights on a timer, on for a max of 12 hours of total
light per day
